Carinated impasto patera
Description
This burnished patera has a concave base, a body that flares outward at a nearly flat angle and is rounded at the belly, and a neck that flares outward from the carination to a rounded rim. The exterior of the belly is decorated with vertical ribbing made by finger impressions. There are two holes just above the carination to facilitate the hanging of the vessel.
