After study, this SU is tentatively associated with a series of cuts and fills in proximity to it: SUs 334 (Fill SUs 121, 329, 332), 336 (Fill SU 335) 118 (Fills SUs 109 (packing), 119), 518 (Fill SU 517). This SU is tentatively dated to the Iron Age/Archaic phase of activity in the area and the depression with its halo of further cuts might possibly be interpreted as a large posthole re-done many times.
Circular cut placed in the central part of another one of rectangular shape (SU334). It is impossible to understand the original purpose of the cut but its fill (SU335) was composed of a lot of big quarried debris maybe dumped in a second moment, during the quarry activity
