This layer of fill is probably equivalent to 3396, which filled the main chamber of the tomb. It was similar in composition, color and compaction to 3396. However, a distinction was created between the fill of the main chamber and the niche, since both were separated by the tufo slab (3404). The soil was largely sterile, apart from the numerous vessels recovered from the niche. Found within this niche were SUs 3406, 3407, 3408, 3409, 3410, 3411, 3412, 3413, 3414, 3415, 3416, 3417, 3418 and 3419. As of 29-06-2014, a few bones were discovered in the fill, but this awaits excavation by the anthropologist. The objects are all grave goods associated with the tomb.
