Cut of Posthole. Is in alignment with cut to N which has a similar irregular shape. Possibly part of a series of postholes for a structure that currently sits under the W. baulk of the excavation area
Probably contains original fill due to the presence of stone packing. This particular cut is oddly shaped - circle with a linear cut extending at the western limit. Another cut similar to this was discovered further north, SU 3807
Rectangular cut in NW corner of area, SW of 3076 and Circular cut (west) in rectangular cut 3822 and Circular cut (east) in rectangular cut 3822, filled by 3818 and 3813
