Ashy deposit that may comprise part of fill of linear W-E cut at SE corner of area associated with hut phase of occupation. On surface seems to he equal to 3835 (a black ashy layer immediately east of this deposit and truncated by 3833), but given that a northern limit to the cut of 3834 was not identified, this is uncertain.
