Southern edge was thought to be defined, but turned out to be a tip line. Actual southern edge is now an excavation limit, as is the western edge. Vertically-placed block (?) at bottom level on southern limit. Possible ancient fill post-abandonment of site. Northern edge was thought to be artificial, but really was not.
Interpretation relating to stratigraphy: western and southern edges are excavation limits because the western and southern edges coninue outside of area of excavation. Stratigraphic reliability very good in some places and very bad in others.
