SU 5055 is the skeleton burial contained in grave 47. The burial is oriented with the skull pointing south with fingers and feet pointing north. The skeleton is positioned on its back with the head facing east (to the right). Preservation is good with the exception of the cranial vault and ribs, and the skeleton appears to have been laid out carefully at the time of burial based on parallel orientation of arms and legs as well as the positioning of the head. Strong occipital protuberance and gonial angle, as well as blunt mental prominence suggest male individual. Maxillary and mandibular teeth show little wear. Sharp sub-pubic angle suggests male.
