This layer appears to be the result of a large dumping activity. The southern portion of the SU has revealed the northern and western limits of room one. In this area we have found many pieces of painted plaster as well as the floor of the room made of opus scutulatum. On the northern portion of the SU a drainage channel was revealed and what seems to be the preparation of a floor running east to west. In the western poprtion of the SU the fill continues down to the bedrock. A cut was discovered in the bedrock which appears to contain a dolium. A large ashlar rock was found on the northern limit of this portion of the SU which may relate to the stairs from area F-North. On the western limit of this SU the foundation of wall 5302 was discovered. On the eastern limit of the SU two stairs were found.
