The slabs don't abut the basin, which has no relationship with them, as well as with SU 5657, which simply stand on the bedrock. This SU can be considered the remain of the floor belonging to the first phase of the complex.

2014-07-22 Molly Barron

These two slabs are located on the western edge of room 13 in area F-S. They abut the basin 5617 on the southern edge and basalt-stones 5657 on the eastern edge. There is a cut in the slabs on the western edge related to the later phase of abandonment. The slabs were covered by the floor prep 5614 as well as the floor 5611 & 5613 which were related to a later occupational phase of the room.
