Southern stretch of the western wall of this room, the eastern wall of which (between slab floors 5661 and 5662) has been robbed. The northern limit of this room was formed by 5545. THe southern limit of the room, an E-W wall in ashlar blocks which would have intersected with this wall at its southern end and would have run alongside slab floors 5739 and 5595, seems to have been robbed, leaving on the trace of its compact soil foundation (5780). The truncation at the northern limit has been revealed to be related to the construction of later brick arch feature 5757.
This wall was likely taller than one block. The presence of plaster still attached indicates a facing covered the wall. The break at the northern limit was most likely not the result of robbery activity, because the missing section is not a complete block. The gap between 5665 and 5664 does not seem wide enough to have been a deliberate break, especially considering the uneven edge of the northern limit of 5665.
