Ashlar pillar that delineated the Via Gabina and separated it from the area F complex. It's similar in nature to the other pillars along the road (5721, 5722, 5723, 5724, 5725, 5727, 5728, 5729, 5787). This pillar is slightly different in that it has a possible rope friction erosion mark between its N and S sides. Since part of 5893(and 5827) we theorize to be possible bases for the portico that ran along the via Gabina, this rope mark could have also been related to the portico in some way (canopy?).
