Likely to have been a road surface, originally laid down over the whole area of the roadway, but later cut on the western side by 6060. Limited by wall 6056/6070 on the east side. Southern portion of surface eroded about halfway down toward the trunk road. Probably represents a new, quite late road surface laid down to possibly repair an older one, and to raise the surface to the contemporary occupation level.
