A very partially preserved patch of gravel road, likely truncated by cut 6060, which was laid directly on top of the basalt pavement of the earlier road (6039). Only center portion of the gravel remains here, but it appears to be of similar height to the gravel pavement to the south that meets the Via Gabina (6082). This road surface seems to have served to level the gradient in order to join the Via Gabina to the northern basalt pavers in the Area G side street.
