This wall appears to be the eastern extension of wall 7332, on the other side of the large negative feature (7266). It seems also to have been in phase with the ashlar wall with which it forms a corner at the eastern end (wall 7331, running southward). With the parallel wall to the south (7362/7405), this wall seems to have formed a room that bounded the southern side of the open piazza space. Although it remains to be determined by future work what the precise nature of the space immediately to the north of this wall was in the original ashlar phase: where Room H9 was later built, did the basalt pavement originally extend westward (i.e. west of the line of wall 7329)? See also the interpretation of wall 7331.

Ashlar wall serving as the eastern part of the southern limit of room H-9 and the eastern north limit of room H-10. The wall appears to end on its western end shortly before the cut 7266 possibly due to a doorway or threshold that started at its western end. Probably built before mosaic 7349 as the mosaic abuts the ashlar wall. The wall shows an earlier phase of construction than the concrete wall 7334 which is built on top of the ashlar wall. The similar construction of this wall and wall 7331, as both are ashlar walls in Room H-10 covered in a concrete wall, suggest that they are built in the same phase.
