Together with walls and blocks 7387, 7388, and 7390, this block appears to have formed some kind of feature in this northeast corner of the space between the two major groups of rooms that belonged to the 'trapezoidal building'. Based on its position, physical relationships, and techniques, this feature presumably belongs to this later phase, when this building was in use. Because, at the moment, the soil layers within the feature have not been excavated, its purpose/function remain unclear; it may have been structural, but it might also relate to some kind of drainage.
