Unit Limit Notes
Northern limit cuts rocky core of wall 8044. Depth from farthest western to eastern limit is irregular but slopes generally downward along patchy, hard, silty surface. At farthest eastern limit the cut becomes significantly deeper in a small circular shape. This deeper east-west portion of the cut is roughly rectangular. The southern portion of the cut is much shallower, comprising a smaller rough rectangle whose bottom seems to be the remains of two separate hard surfaces (apparently associated with the floors and leveling surfaces found nearby. One of these surfaces sits on top of the other.

Cut Observations
Cut has three distinct sections: a small, shallow rectangular portion to the south, a deep longer rectangle to the north, and a small, deep circular depression on the far eastern extent of the longer rectangle. It seems to cut floor and leveling surfaces, but comes down on more such surfaces in its southern portion.

Possibly three distinct, overlapping cuts. The shallower rectangle to the south may have been cut first, before it was itself cut by the deeper rectangle to the north. The deep circular on the eastern limit of this cut is possibly a posthole, possibly made after the "second" cut. It is unclear Possibly three distinct, overlapping cuts.
