SU 9014 is part of one of four road layers superimposed between the first and latest phases of the Via Gabina. Bulk ceramic finds suggest a date of between between 4th and mid 1st Century BCE. The preparation consists of a layer of gravel, crushed ceramic and earth.

2017-07-05 Nicholas Dell Isola

The compaction of this layer suggests that it was a walkable surface.
