Two largely intact ceramic vessels, which appear to cap each other. They are in situ, but are broken from above - several stones and large chunks of other pottery are visible at the top of the inner fill, and these may be responsible for the breakage. The vessels contain the skeleton of an infant. They sit along side a wall (SU1299) and on the same orientation, so the grave is possibly associated with this structure. (Vessels bagged separately (1&2) when possible.
