This substantial elongated concentration of rubble is aligned with the structural features of the underlying house. The rubble seems to represent the remains of the collapse of the walls or other related features of the house after its abandonment.
Rectangular deposit rich with rubble, pottery and tile inclusions between the eastern wall/drainage and the quarry cut to the west. Also included a north-south strip along the wall which was further defined once the rubble was removed. Once the large travertine slab was removed, more of the wall was found running down the south in a north-south line. The lower layer which will be the lower SU was fairly well defined in soil color change, lack of ceramic/rubble inclusions and increased charcoal.
