The skeleton was surrounded by soil SU 1463. There was a considerable disturbance amongst the lower body. The skull was nicely preserved and articulated, but the frontal is missing and the upper jaw. The skull showed a very obvious and deep mould, which I tryed to photograph in detail. Overall the skeleton was amazingly well-preserved. The skull seemed to appear being very small in diameter in comparison to the bones. The skeleton was lifted (whilst being covered with soil) together with the burial container (imbrex) and excavated ex situ because heavy rainfall was on its way.
