The rubble appears to be reinforcement for wall 2032, perhaps to protect it from drainage system 2135; the layer is cut by sondage 2009 along western limit but likely continued to wall 2033. During post-excavation study, this feature was reinterpreted as a wall to the north of Spaces 2-3, constructed out of irregular stones and rubble of similar technique to the other Phase 1A walls. It could form the northern limit of the structure. The lack of intervening excavation to Phase 1 deposits between this wall and Space 7 or other contextualizing layers makes it difficult to ascertain whether this wall belongs to the same property as the 1A structure, or a different structure altogether.
