Observations and Descriptions

Observations
There is relatively loose soil on top. A compact layer which spans entire SU indicates a new layer. The original height of the cut and fill are undetermined.
Position
The SU is located in the central-eastern area.
Shape
The shape is square.

The SU is the fill of a pit of unknown function (SU 2302). There are little to no stone/anthropic inclusions. It is post-abandonment accumulation. During post-excavation study, this feature was reinterpreted as a spoliation event which may date as late as the 400s CE.
