During post-excavation study, this feature was reinterpreted as a leveling activity perhaps related to the flooring of the southern-facing rooms related to the spaces delimited by walls 2372 and 2373 in the area south of Space 1A-7. Later leveling activity, however, has eliminated any structural remains of the southern part of the Phase 1A building.
The SU is a deposit of colluvial soil related to similar deposits running south of the courtyard.
