Accumulation layer possibly related to floor leveling or destruction levels of earlier floors. This SU was excavated out of sequence in order to determine the nature of the yellow fill, 2494. When it was determined that 2494 was, in fact, the fill of a larger cut, excavations of 2487 were stopped. They were resumed with a new SU, 2500, the following day.
