An accumulation of brown silty soil covering what may have been exterior surfaces of the building. Into the western baulk extend a yellow patch of sediment and two more of compact soil that were excavated as internal depositions; as the soil matrix was clearly similar above and below the compact material. Immediately N of the yellow patch is an ashy patch which also extends to the W baulk and whose southern limits lie underneath the Northern limits of the yellow patch.
