Vessel used as an infant burial. The vessel was deposited with the mouth facing W and the base to the E. The infant within was disarticulated, but from skeletal remains it is clear that the skull was to the E, roughly with the base and the feet were near the mouth to the W and stones were used to cover the mouth of the vessel. Some remained in situ while others were found collapsed in the vessel. The upper half of the vessel was truncated by later natural forces and not present upon excavation.
