Quarry cut SU386 was partially filled with rubble. SU381 is socle of wall built on top of rubble and socle is not always distinguishable from rubble. Cut was later backfilled with quarry/construction debris. SU381 is equal to socle SU387 to the S of later wall SU352. Socle was cut and partially destroyed on an angle by later cut SU382. We presume that a wall, the extension of SU363, would have originally stood atop the socle and was also destroyed by cut SU352.
