Further study indicates that this is one of a series of layers containing the debris from the abandonment and collapse of the Republican house

Possible later cut through house floor level and eastern wall (SU420). After excavation, no cut was identified. Deposit is very similar to the post-occupation accumulation (SU419) over the rest of the 'house'
