5128 is an early phase of wall 5010. The change in the plan from 5128 to 5010 indicates that the demolition of the southern section of the wall was intentional. Is it possible that 5128 ran over an even earlier basalt wall - 5127. However, the reconstruction of 5010 cuts off the southern join of 5128 and 5127. There was no mortar used in the construction of 5128, however, there are indications of later additions of mortar in the masonry -- this is more apparent on the wall 5011. While the plaster is only preserved on 5010, the later addition of the mortar may indicate that the change in plan also coincided with the plastering of the wall. The presence of the plaster indicates that the structure was roofed off at least by the time of the construction of 5010.
