SU 5352 is limited by rubble and ashlar features to the north, which appears to be an earlier wall. Further north of the cut lies SU 5348, a standing wall constructed during later complex occupation. To the east the cut truncates similar rubble and ashlar features; the ashlar pavement stones seem to correspond to both those found to the north of the cut and those which make up the later floor surface of the complex. To the south floor surfaces SU 5320 and SU 5355 were cut by SU 5352. The fill of SU 5352 was excavated previously, complicating the examination of hypotheses regarding the activity and purpose of SU 5352. Possibly made for spoliation.
