Stratigraphic Unit 5365 is a tufo block re-used in the construction of the wall 5363 and is related to the walls 5362 and 5364. It was possibly originally related to an earlier phase with a linear ashlar feature south of the recorded area. The severely flattened southern face of the block does not seem to indicate an accidental fracture, but more likely an intentional cut of the stone. The southern limit of the block appears to fall on the same axis of the northern limit of an ashlar feature south-east of the block (no SU assigned). It is thus plausible that the block was part of an earlier ashlar wall construction wose southern face is almost entirely missing. It is also possible that the bock is not in situ and has been repurposed for the construction of the concrete wall 5363.
