This appears to be a fill of a cut that continues under wall 5469. This suggests that wall 5469 is not in its original position. The inclusions of tile and stone continue under the wall and this supports the hypothesis that the wall is not the original front of the complex, but a later addition. A photo model was taken after excavation to show the position of inclusions continuing under the wall.
