The slabs form a floor surface for the room. The slab floor's holes reveal an underground space, which in combination with channel 5666 on the south side, which leads directly under 5662, most likely served as an underground drainage system. The signs of disturbance indicate a robbery, so an impluvium probably sat in the middle of the floor. On the eastern side of the slab floor, the bedrock has been worked in such a way that it appears to be the base of a wall that is no longer standing. The presence of a wall is supported by a cut in wall 5545 and wall 5551 lines up with the cut bedrock and the cut in wall 5545. There is also a lip on the edge of the slabs in SU 5661 and a slight difference in elevation, both of which facts support the idea of a wall between the two units.
