Post-abandonment natural accumulation within drainage channel, including sporadic collapse of surrounding walls. At least some of this material was likely deposited by the flow of water through the sewer, as a cavity had formed beneath soil (without any form of covering). Sporadic disarticulated bones of at least three deceased infants were found within the fill of the northern channel. The infants may have been deposited in this area after the channel had gone out of use, but could also have washed down from higher in the system.
