This opus reticulatum wall was built as part of the western wall of room 21 in Area F-South. It appears to have been covered by ashlar wall 5798 at some point, as a single broken ashlar block was present above the preserved height of the reticulatum. The opus reticulatum was at least partially destroyed by previous excavation as evidenced by the scarring on slab SU 5837. This action (and possibly ancient or post abandonment processes) truncated the southern limit, where a preserved floor surface suggests some kind of entrance from the street between 5814 and wall 5824.
