This was a fill on top of drainage features, similar to 5817. It was most likely post abandonment accumulation not excavated by the soprintendenza due to lack of modern finds and ceramic and other finds in the SU (eg. worked bone die). The bones of at least one human infant were identified, along with many other bones, which is not unusual in and around drains. Freshwater fish bones were amongst the bones as well, suggesting that food may have been consumed in this room.
