Interpretations

Interpretations
2015-07-07 Nicholas Dell Isola

This layer was definitely excavated previously by the Italian government due to the inclusion of shotgun shells and plastic wrappings. Additionally the great variety of inclusions in this layer suggest that this layer was mostly backfill, covering preserved features, though root activity has heavily disturbed the floors beneath.
