SU 5792 must have served as part of the floor of Room 21 in Area F in one of the later phases of occupation. The fragments of marble slabs which were discovered on top of the concrete surface, and the ridges preserved in the mortar, could indicate that the finished floor originally was made of marble. Fragments of marble were found in the fill, as well as preserved on two walls. The boundaries of the floor along the north and east walls of the room could have been destroyed in order to install or maintain underground drainage channels. The SW section of the floor seems to extend out of our excavation limit under the road, or at least beyond the expected wall location, suggesting an entrance located here.
