These blocks delineate room 22 and separate the space from the road. As preserved they appear to have served as a threshold; however, they are on a too high level when compared to the latest preserved floor surface, which makes that seem less likely. Steps of some sort would have been required, though the block SU 5826 may represent the remains of such a feature, and the immediate area has been robbed out.
