Considering the various floor surfaces, this structure would have been at waist height. With this in mind, it is possible that this was a counter or some other similar surface. This fits well with the theory that Room 22 is a taberna. It also seems to be in phase with 5811, 5816, and 5815. The western limit looks like it has been repaired with concrete. Believed to have been excavated by Soprintendenza, who may have consolidated it (evidence of modern concrete).
