After study this cut (SU 602) is interpreted as relating to the construction of a hut. It is aligned with SU 530 and 615 and this set of features can be interpreted as the foundation trench and settings for upright posts that would form a hut or another small structure.
Cut SU602 is one of a series of cuts (SU600, SU601) and fills (SU594, SU603) that are arranged in a semicircular arrangement. These cuts south of large square cut SU478 are similar in arrangement, shape and size to a group of cuts north of SU478. Together, they seem to be postholes for a hut or some quarry machinery.
