A relatively late wall consisting of medium-sized stones mortared together, built on top of and reusing as a foundation an earlier wall composed of (at least two) tufo blocks (6069). It is difficult to determine at present whether its primary function was to delimit the main trunk road that runs immediately to the south, or whether it is connected to a (at present unexcavated) structure in the block immediately to the north (and west of the Area I building). Given that, at its western limit, it appears to utilize in its foundations two large basalt stones that may have been part of a late fill (7211), the wall may be one of the latest features in this sector. It appears to be related to wall 6056, which runs north from its western limit, although there is no direct physical relationship between the two (because of what appears to be a cut/plow scar).
