This cut is only partially visible because there still seems to be some archaeological fill (6310). It is one of many cuts into the bedrock in this area (6305, 6306, 6307, 6308, 6309, 6311, 6312, 6313) which were visible upon the removal of geotextile in the southern portion of room G-10. Because we did not excavate the soil layers associated with them it is difficulty to determine when they were made. Some appear to be postholes but others are more irregular in shape.
