When the floor surface 7150 was built it appears that access to the dolium was required and basalt stones 7181 were placed around the edges of the fill 7180 in order to mark the boundaries of the dolium rim. This negative feature cuts through 7180 as well as 7150 in order to preserve access to the dolium. No changes in the soil or materials from the layer within or on top of the dolium.
