This layer was nearly identical to 7253 in limits and composition, but contained more grey tufo inclusions and was extremely compact. Likely a surface or sidewalk associated road 7259, but will need dating evidence from ceramics to determine relationship with post-abandonment activity in the area or the relationship with the regularized bedrock beneath (7255). Small size of remaining surface makes interpretation difficult.
