Like wall 7288 to the east (of similar construction technique and alignment), despite being built of ashlar blocks, this wall does not seem to belong to the original mid-Republican phase; rather, these irregular blocks were probably reused to create this wall (and delimit Rooms H14 and H15) in a later phase. This is made clear by multiple pieces of evidence, but especially by the fact that these blocks cover the original tufo slab floor (7320).
