Partially preserved Opus Reticulatum wall, likely later than the ashlar phase represented by elements of the north wall of H15 (7288, 7290) and east wall (7322). 7374 likely represents a later subdivision of an earlier, larger, possibly public space (given its proximity to the piazza) represented at least by the full extent of H15. 7374 was certainly built after the tufo slab floor in the northeast of the room 7320, which it partially covers; but it also postdates the robbery of this floor, since its foundation fills the robbery cut itself. The exact nature of the relationship between 7374 and the tufo block wall elements adjoining and running parallel to it to its south is unclear. The blocks were almost certainly placed later, possibly either in order to further subdivide the room or to replace a section of presumably damaged wall. It is perhaps worth noting that this wall appears to align with north-south walls 7079 and 7080 to the north, reflecting what seems to have been an important alignment in this late phase of the Area H complex.
