SU 8019 served as the threshold between Rooms I-2 and I-4. Based on the thickness of the stones, which is greater than expected and gives them the appearance of blocks rather than slabs, perhaps they are reused from an earlier wall elsewhere. Alternatively, their size may reflect the fact that they are in fact the top step of a small staircase, with the lower stair represented by SU 8073 and the middle stair now missing (some kind of middle step must be assumed based on the height of 8019 from Room I-4). The two circular depressions clearly suggest door posts, implying that these two rooms could be closed off from one another.
