SU 8025 is a floor preparation layer in Room I-2, which differs from the floor immediately to the east (SU 8023) and the smoother flooring found in SU 8024 just to the north. It is a highly fragmented and irregularly shaped section that covers an ashlar block immediately below it (SU 8026). It seems to represent the remains of a flooring preparation layer that was once topped by smoother layer SU 8024 that has since been lost - in fact, 8025 may simply represent the same floor without a preserved surface, giving the appearance of a separate SU. As preserved, however, there is no physical relationship between 8024 and 8025 due to fairly deep plow marks through Room I-2.
