Opus signinum wall facing of wall 8133. This was probably placed atop the wall to protect it from moisture; the adjacent walls 8199 and 8011 also have this facing. The proximity of this room to basin/gutter I-3, as well as the evidence for in situ mosaic floors in this room (I-10) suggests the entire complex of rooms may have been a bath. The arch in Room I-11, to the south of I-10, supports this hypothesis, since it may have been a drain or praefurnium.
